DayZ standalone video

We finally have more info on the standalone version of DayZ. Dean “Rocket” Hall posted a video on YouTube where he shows some of the basic clothing stuff, the swamps that have been added and some simple looting mechanics.

The clothing mechanics is a new one, now you can find new clothing and change the look of your character as you move along in this apocalyptic world. I wonder if the will add like rare band hoodies or t-shirts. Getting killed for you Slayer-hoodie would really suck.

In the video Rocket hides the inventory system, which is one of the things I really wanted to see. So we just have to wait for another video or the game to find out how that works.

An other things he mentioned in the video is that the Island of Utes is going to be part of Chernarus.
