Dear Santa …
Christmas is just around the corner and you still don’t know what to buy for your loved ones or yourself. This Christmas go for something geeky, a movie or just some video game.
So what do we want to see in Santa’s bag this year? Let’s just start with some of the new movies.
Movies

The Batman trilogy on Blu-ray is a prefect Christmas present
Batman, what else can one need? The Dark knight rises is something everyone should have on Blu-Ray. Not only is the movie a graphical orgasm, the story is great too. Why not even go all the way and buy all three Batman movies.
Second on the list is Total Recall. This action packed movie featuring Colin Farrell is a real adrenalin pack. Not to mention our favorite girls that star in this movie, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel. With Kate and Jessica it can only be a masterpiece.
Third thing I would like to put on this is the Swedish Millennium Saga. With Noomi Rapace as the girl with the dragon tattoo you just can’t go wrong. Most of you remember Noomi from Prometheus, which by the way also should be mentioned as a good gift for the sci-fi fan.
Games

Mass Effect is something I would love as a present
Now what about games? Black Ops II … not in my top three. It’s fun but nothing I would give or want as a gift. In the gaming section I would go for the trilogy of Mass Effect or maybe a Collector’s edition of World of Warcraft or Halo.
Even if World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria isnt for everybody it can well be played as a single player game or maybe just for pvp. Most quest and storylines are really great.
Halo 4 is just … well Halo 4.
Other good games this year we should mention are Assassin’s Creed 3, Farcry 3 and Borderlands 2.
We also shouldn’t forget the new console on the market, WiiU. With most homes already owning one of the consoles a game for it is a good present, but be sure to check what games are wished for.
Other stuff

A 20 cm high Boba Fett figure is a great decoration.
Things to consider are collector items, if you are into them that is. Who wouldn’t want a stormtrooper statue or Darth Vaders lightsaber? Get something from a toy or movie store and pimp your desk at work or home. Who knows, you or the person getting the item might even become somewhat of a collector. Atleast one figure, statue or poster of our favorite headhunter, Boba Fett should be found in everyone home.
For the Mass Effect fan maybe a Sheppard figure from Toy-Palace.
But if all else fails there still is candles and chocolate. Who wouldn’t love those? Candles are something we love up here in the north. Don’t forget to check stuff like vinyl records, which could make a nice decoration.
Remember its not the thought that counts, its the thought behind the gift that counts.
